ActionAid started its operations in Tanzania in 1998. ActionAid Tanzania (AATZ) envisions seeing Tanzania without poverty and injustice in which every person enjoys his/her right to a life of dignity. Currently, AATZ is looking for qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to fill in the following posts:

Inspirator on Gender Responsive Public Service and Tax Justice Inspirator for Mafia Local Rights

Program Roles:
Influencing government to review, amend and enforce legislatives, systems and institutions
To ensure improved generation of domestic resources for gender responsive public services funding.
Duty station: Mafia District

TOR- Inspirator Pemba

Inspiratoron Civic Participation Empowerment for Pemba Local Rights Program Roles:

Enhance meaningful participation of young men and women in decision making processes through mobilization and engage­ment in the existing government structures, and governance processes
Enhance the knowledge and skills of Pemba Youth Voice Organization to be able to engage with communities and government in demanding their rights
Support partners to carry out action research to establish evidence for advocacy and campaigning
Duty station: Pemba

Inspirator on Civic participation for Kilwa Local Rights Programs Roles:

Enhance meaningful participation of young men and women in decision making processes through mobilization and engage­ment in the existing government structures, and governance processes.
Strengthen the capacity of the Local Rights Program and partners in area of civic participation
Duty station: Kilwa District Qualification, skills, knowledge and Experience:

Inspiratoron Decent Work and Economic OpportunitiesUnguja Local Rights Program Roles:

Influence budget increase for youth economic empowerment and decent employment policies and strategies in place at local and national level
Strengthen capacities of the Local Rights Programs and partners staff on decent work and economic opportunities and its linkages to related policies.
Duty station: Unguja
